Starter, the premium athletic brand established in 1971 and owned by Iconix Brand Group, Inc., is introducing a collegiate-inspired collection in collaboration with Coca-Cola. Football-focused campaigns from the Coca-Cola archives served as the main source of inspiration for the new capsule, which features a retro aesthetic and athletic silhouettes. The assortment blends the heritage of these two classic American brands by fusing sports, style and pop culture.

Starter Black Label’s iconic satin jacket is the centerpiece of the offering and has been updated to resemble a varsity jacket in a red and black color palette. A wool version of the varsity jacket has a lining and split hood printed with a colorful football illustration from the Coca-Cola archives. Another standout item is a tracksuit with co-branded tape detailing, available in both red and black colorways. Crew neck sweatshirts, sweatpants, t-shirts and a wool hat round out the collection. Coca-Cola branding is seen throughout the range, in the form of embroidered logos as well as on zipper pull and button details. Additionally, the letter “C” in Coca-Cola’s distinct script is featured throughout.

Starter Black Label’s collaboration with Coca-Cola is dropping on November 1, 2019 and will be available on StarterBlackLabel.com, CokeStore.com and Macys.com as well as at specialty boutique Walter’s in Coca-Cola’s hometown of Atlanta.
