Umbro Debuts Collaboration With Coral Studios To Benefit The Great Barrier Reef Foundation

Umbro, the iconic football (soccer) brand owned by Iconix Brand Group, Inc., is dropping a new capsule collection in partnership with creative agency Coral Studios at Art Basel Miami Beach this weekend. To celebrate the partnership, Coral Studios is hosting an activation and pop-up at Pegaso Soccer in the Wynwood section of Miami on December 6 and 7. The two-day event will take place on one of Pegaso’s rooftop soccer fields.

 

The Coral Studios x Umbro capsule is made up of four styles including a reversible retro track jacket in Coral Studio’s distinct camo print, home and away soccer jerseys and a reversible pair of Umbro’s signature checkerboard shorts. The track jacket and jerseys are composed of an environmentally friendly material called NYHI® made from recycled ocean fishing nets, sourced from the Ecomax Textile Company, Ltd.  The assortment features a contrasting color palette of neon pink, neon orange, purple and coral paired with more minimal white and gray tones.

 

Limited quantities of the collection will be available for purchase at the pop-up and on UmbroPremier.com during Art Basel Miami Beach, ahead of the collection’s wider release in Spring 2020. The collaboration between Umbro and Coral Studios supports The Great Barrier Reef Foundation to ensure our reefs are protected and can be appreciated by future generations to come. Coral Studios is a proud partner of The Great Barrier Reef Foundation and contributes a portion of all product sales to protecting, preserving, and recovering the coral reefs.
